MFT Stamps Viking, Polychromos and Sketches.

Hello, hello!

I’ve got a quick look at my regular Monday blog post over at Butterfly Reflections Ink for you today. Well, I say, regular but the term is coming to an end this month and I have had a great time on this design team! If you are interested in trying out for it, check it out right here. It’s a great, no-stress team to be on so if you are umm-ing and ah-ing about it, just go for it!

Right, the card. Here we go, I used a stamp that I have had in my stash for a little while now as it’s super cute and I couldn’t resist it: Viking from MFT Stamps. It has a coordinating die-namic but I don’t have that one yet.

I stamped him up with Grout Grey Hybrid ink and then coloured him with Polychromos coloured pencils, which is definitely not my strongest medium but it was great fun! The background is stamped with Wood Plank Background using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink in my beloved MISTI, on light grey card stock(MFT has a great range of coloured card stock, I can’t deny I want them all) I also cut out a stitched circle in the panel as I was making the card using the current MFT Sketch Challenge #380.

Keeping the card simple, I stamped the sentiment on a thin strip of white card stock, added it to the card with a vellum heart behind it and a few enamel dots and gemstones later, it was done. What do you think?

I have used compensated affiliate links in this post, which means I get a small commission at no extra cost to you if you purchase something using these links. I hope you’d consider supporting me this way if you are thinking of buying some of these items anyway, it helps my crafting journey and I really appreciate it!

Have a great week and happy crafting!

Love, Erica
