Today I’ve got a card and a cute little gift card bag made with some lovely diecuts from The Stamp Market.
Recently I went a little mad and made a lot of flowers using the Beautiful Blooms Builder diecut. The paper I used is this gorgeous linen textured card stock, and I mixed and maxed colours to see what worked and what didn’t. Well, it all kinda worked so I ended up with a whole bouquet. Oh, and lots of leaves too.
Eh, whatcha gonna do? In my case, I ended up using almost all of them on one single card. Because who wants to be restrained?? Not this gal!
I had a watercolored panel already done, and it is in green colours which kind of worked as a greenery background. With the panel as a guide, I puzzled the flowers and the leaves together so they covered pretty much the whole thing.
To keep all the bits and pieces in the right place, I used PostIt Tape all over them and flipped it over. Next came the foam tape to pop up the whole thing from the card panel.
I left a little bit of space in the top left corner as I also had a fun ‘Dude’ diecut leftover from another project. To finish off the sentiment, I heat embossed ‘Keep going’ from a Simon Says Stamp set called ‘You got this’, in white on black card stock. On the back of this I added a bit of foam tape to pop it off the card.
Now, this is already a pretty busy card with all these Beautiful Bloom flowers but of course I couldn’t leave it like it was. I added a load of iridescent sequins in various sizes so they would peek out from under the flowers, with Glossy Accents.
Finally setting the card aside, I thought why not make a little something with the one leftover flower and some leaves. Or any excuse to use the Gift Bags & Tag Dies, right?
I cut it out of Ranger Ink water colour card stock and after putting it together, I heat embossed ‘Sending Lots Of Hugs To You’ in white on it. This sentiment is from the You Are My Fave Stamp set. To make it stand out a little, I added some pink colour to it.
I have linked everything I have used for these projects in this post in case you wanted to pick up something for yourself. I’m not an affiliate of neither Simon Says Stamp or The Stamp Market though, just a HUGE fan.
And with that, I’m all done for today, thanks for stopping by!
Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica
