There are several bundles to choose from but if you can’t pick just one, there is a Flutters & Blooms bundle available at a discounted price too.
As usual, I have gone nuts with the cards.. so many colour combinations and options! To start with I grabbed the Big Thanks stamp and ALL. THE. INKS! No joke.. I had almost all of my inks out and played with colour combinations and ombré looks.
My first card is made with two shades of each colour. This is easy peasy with the help of a stamping tool. I do love my MISTI’s. I stamped one colour per letter of the ‘thank‘, and then I masked off the area already stamped before moving on to the next one. When I finished with one row, I turned the panel over and did the same thing on the bottom part of the panel, but upside down.
The colours I have used are shown in the photo and are Limoncello, Tiara, Garden Party, Lime Rickey, Aquatini, All That Jazz, It’s A Boy, Suede Shoes, It’s A Girl and Party Dress. On the upside down K I used Coral Cabana and Rockin’ Red but I decided it was too dark.
To finish this card off I simply stamped the ‘you’ from the Big Thanks set in the middle with black ink. Easy peasy!
My second card is similar, but the ‘Thank’ is in the middle and I have used only blue shades of ink for it. It’s one per letter, and I did it the same way as the first one. Stamped one letter, masked if off and moved on to the next ink. From left to right: It’s A Boy, Something Borrowed, Fiesta Blue, Suede Shoes and Juniper Mist.
On this one I stamped the ‘you’ at an angle under the Thank bit. I also added some Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh with Glossy Accents .
For the next card I have again used the Big Thanks stamp, but this time with three shades of green inks to create a bit of an ombré-ish look. I started out with Melon Ice, then Garden Party and finally a little bit of Lime Rickey. For this one I also added the extra ‘S’ from the stamp set.
This I then cut out using a rectangular stitched die, and added this to a white card base. With black ink I stamped up ‘For being you’ to make the sentiment say ‘Thanks for being you’. I did make a video for these cards, I’ll try getting it up on my YouTube channel as soon as possible.
I have also used the Boxes Of Blooms stamp set. All my cards for this release are very CAS/Clean And Simple. Or at least they seem that way to me as I really struggle with white spaces.
The flowers are stamped up with Tiara and the stems with Lime Rickey. I had the help of my Mini MISTI for this as I’m rubbish at free-hand stamp layering stamps. The sentiment is also stamped up with Tiara.
While I had the brown inks out, I stamped up some of the flower boxes and cut these, and the flowers, out with the coordinating diecut. I adhered these to the card with some foam tape to raise them up.
Well, that’s it from me for today! I hope you enjoyed these cards and found some inspiration here.
