Let’s get caffeinated with Trinity Stamps!

Hi guys!

Today I’m popping in quickly with three cards I’ve made for Trinity Stamps, as part of the Design Team. My first post was super rushed as I got the stamps the day before it was due! A viscous hostage situation with DHL nearly broke me, it was so frustrating knowing they had my package but didn’t deliver it despite all the paper work I filled in and sent off. Ugh!

Anyway, now I have my stamps and I have been busy making coffee themed cards! I got a bit carried away (as you do) when the stuff finally arrived so I stamped up several panels and images and then spent hours colouring. These images are from the Coffee Character stamp set.

I have two that are stamped exactly the same, as in the images are in the same place on both, but one is on white card stock with black ink and one is on Kraft card stock with white ink.

I like doing cards this way, I like seeing how different they can turn out by changing the colouring medium or the background colour. Out of these two, I think I like the Kraft card best. Maybe because the Kraft card stock gives a warmer, slightly coffee themed look?

On this card I coloured the images in with Copics and added some texture and dimension by adding a sentiment strip and whipped cream with foam tape. The whipped cream is also heat embossed to add extra texture.

The Kraft card is coloured with coloured pencils and whilst this takes a lot longer than Copics, I like the texture you get from them and the pop of colours.

On the inside of this card I made a little gift card pocket too, to make it even more different that the white card.

My third card, which was part of my first blog post at Trinity Stamps, is quite quick and easy.

On an ink smooshed background, using coffee coloured Distress Oxide inks of course, I added some word diecuts that say ‘But first coffee’ and a steaming cup of coffee and a croissant. Because I do like me a croissant every now and again..
