Now, with all that out of the way, let’s get to the card making! I decided to use one single, solid stamp from the stamp set in the Summer Blooms kit, and stamp it in a rainbow with the yummy inks from Ink On 3.

From left to right I’ve used My Jam Purple, Marilyn Red, Sweet Petunia Pink, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green, Trinity Teal and Peacock Blue. All this was done with the help of the Mini MISTI, to make sure I got good solid stamped images each time.

The coloured ones were stamped a little bit willy-nilly, and overlapping each other. They also didn’t go all the way to the bottom of the card panel. The reason I did it this way was that I had planned on stamping up the same image in Paint It Black ink, cut them out with the coordinating diecut and layer them upon top. Well, not quite on top, but to cover the white bits at the bottom where the stamp didn’t reach.

As a chronic and serial over-sequinizer and over-blinger, I was THRILLED to see the Summer Sparkles Embellishment mix and went a bit… well… over… I might have redefined my own definition of over-blinger, let’s just put it that way, lol!

A little sentiment from the Here For You stamp, You’re Amazing, was stamped up with Blackout Detail ink and then I stepped away. Still, I’m pretty sure that this card can be see from outer space with all that gorgeous bling!

That’s it from me for today, I hope you enjoyed the card and the rest of the hop!

If you are wondering if you need a fancy camera to get the blurred effect in your photos, the answer is no. You will need to have some sort of function on your phone that adjusts the depth of field though. As I’m an iPhone user I switch to portrait mode for these. The key is to build up your flat lay, so that it still looks like a flat lay in the photo, but is definitely nowhere near flat in real life.

Now I really am done! Thank you so much for stopping by. The next stop on the hop is Jeannie! Until the next time, lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Pinkfresh Studio July Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi and welcome back to my little blog!

Today’s post is an exciting one: it’s my first release blog hop as a design team member for Pinkfresh! *insert giddy dance here*

Unsurprisingly, it’s another fabulous release and full of fun products. If you remember the washi tapes with coordinating dies and stamps from earlier release, they now also come with layering stencils, in case the washis aren’t for you. How cool is that??

The Anemone Magic washi tape is super gorgeous, and so handy when you need a quick card, but don’t have time to colour. Now another handy addition to that range has been added with the Anemone Magic layering stencils!

Anemone Magic Layering Stencils

I went with a very different colour scheme compared to the Anemone Magic washi tape. Mostly to show how versatile the products are, and how you get gorgeous results every time. The coordinating dies make cutting them all out quick work too.

These colours are Peach Fuzz and Apricot for the Anemone Magic flowers, and Doe and Gathered Twig for the leaves. The outline stamp is heat embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder from WOW! Embossing. I used the coordinating dies and set aside the pieces.

I used the same Rose Gold embossing powder on an entire panel and then used the Stitches cover plate to add texture to it. This card was inspired by the wallpaper in my little sister’s bedroom, which later became our mother’s sewing room in our childhood home.

A few… or maybe a good sprinkling of the Espresso Jewel finished the card off. Because it wasn’t shiny or sparkly enough with all that embossing powder, clearly.

I used the same Anemone Magic stencils for the second card, but with yellows and greens, and no outline image. It created a much softer look so I left it as it was, without the outline stamp, and used the coordinating dies. The yellows are Lemon Whip, Sunshine and Sweet Mustard. The greens are Fresh Pear and Mint. On these I did

Right in the middle I stamped one of the sentiments in Black Ink, to make it stand out. It’s such a lovely one too. Who wouldn’t love getting a card with that message on it?

To finish this card I used the Diagonal Stitched Plaid cover plate on white card stock. I could have left it like this, but no. So to add more interest, I made Fresh Pear coloured card stock by dabbing the ink pad on white card stock and then I cut that with the Slim Stripes dies. These I adhered to the card, drew a thin black line on them and then popped up the flowers with a bit of foam tape on top.

Naturally I could not resist the lure of those gorgeous Stargazer Jewels, so I added a few of those too. You can get these in a box with 12 different colours too, and now also individually.

I have made more cards, but as it’s a blog hop I don’t want to take up too much of your time. I have also used compensated affiliate links in this post, mostly to Pinkfresh Studios, at no extra cost to you, for your convenience. Thank you if you shop using my links, I can’t even tell you how much it means to me.

GIVEAWAYS:
Pinkfresh will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel, so you are going to want to comment on those posts and video for sure!

-We will be giving away a total of TEN $25 gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops – the winners will be picked from the comments, so the more you hop comment, the bigger chance of winning!

Picket Fence Studios June Release!

Hi!

It’s the 14th of the month, and we have a fabulous release from Picket Fence Studios! Let’s dive right in! I use ‘dive’ because it’s filled with mermaids and water based creatures!

First off we have A Fishy Lot, and it has coordinating dies too. Thank goodness! Most of these sets I have coloured with Copics.

I have made a video of some of the colouring and the techniques I used for the whale, it’s coming to the Picket Fence Studios YouTube channel soon. Make sure you subscribe to that so you don’t miss it.

Next up we have More Of A Fishy Lot. These mermaids were so fun to colour! I’ve tried making each one a little bit different, almost like a personality, but still keeping them cohesive. I’m super happy there is a coordinating dieset for this one too!

This next mermaid, Mermaid Dear, is from the ‘Dear’ range and this one is so sweet! I coloured her with Zig Clean Colour markers and added Liquid Pixie Dust to the mermaid tail to make it sparkly. Sadly it doesn’t show up in the photo.

Mermaid Dear also has a coordinating diecut. Imagine the fiddle to fussy cut the puffer-fish-balloons…! No, thank you!

I actually finished a card with her! On the background I have used the new Slim Line Triangle Peaks Stencil with some blue Distress Oxide inks and my Life Changing Blender Brushes. The rocks she’s sitting on are the Pond Scenery set. There is a huge lily pad leaf in it too.

This set also has a coordinating die, and I can totally see that lily pad being the party pad (see what I did there?) for the frogs in the Drop By To Say Croak set!

This is another one of those sets I’m super happy to have coordinating dies for. I’m pretty sure more than one frog would lose his legs if I attempted fussy cutting these guys!

If you aren’t into sea creatures, do not worry! There are plenty of land creatures in this release too. Just look at these guys from the Forest Critters Stopping By To Say Hey! There are even wild boars in it! I attempted to colour them as closely as I could to the ones I used to see all the time, whilst living in Poland.

There are lots of little pairs in this set, and a couple of trios, like mama, papa and a baby. Luckily there are coordinating diecuts for these too.

With the help of the A2 Tree Silhouette Cover Plate and like a bazillion sequins from the Pot Of Gold Sequin Mix, I made a card with quite a few of the little cuties from this set.

Using the same A2 Tree Silhouette Cover Plate, and the bear from the Forest Critters Stopping By To Say Hey set, as well as the Hello Word Topper, I made another card.

The background has been ink blended very softly with blue, and then I have stencilled over some Snowdrop White Paper Glaze with a blender brush for a soft look. As soon as I finished with the Paper Glaze, that brush was washed to avoid ruining it.

I will have a video up on my YouTube channel soon too, showing off the entire release and some of the cards up close.

That’s it from me for today, thanks for stopping by and I hope I have tempted you to get a little something-something for yourself. I have used compensated affiliate links in this blog post, for your convenience. These links do not cost you anything extra at all, and I get a small commission from the company directly as a thank you for directing you to them. Any earnings I get from these links pay for things like running my blog, YouTube channel and keeping things fun and fresh for you, so thank you if you shop using these. I really, really appreciate the support!

5K Together YouTube Subscribers Hop!

Hi everyone!

Today’s post is a little celebration for myself and a dear crafting friend, Maria Willis, for sort of reaching a milestone of 5000 subscriber combined. I didn’t quite make it to the 2.5K subscribers as I had hoped, as I haven’t been so active recently due to a stressful family situation. If you haven’t heard anything about it, my FIL is not doing well and will have a very risky operation on Monday, after over a month in hospital. The Man flew out this morning and it was quite stressful and hectic to get it all sorted and organised. Hecking pandemic, eh??

If you want to skip right to the hop, start over at Maria’s YouTube video, and go from there. I am the last stop on the loop, but if you want to go to my video, you can click on THIS LINK to get there.

Life is tough at times and I think it’s important to celebrate and cherish the happy times as you never know when the tide will turn. Hence this little hop! Maria and I roped in some of our crafty friends to make the hop bigger than just two stops, and you are not going to want to miss their projects! The full hop list can be found below, and we also have some super generous companies sponsoring prizes for a massive giveaway to celebrate us.

I have a couple little projects to share today, and as the theme for the hop is ‘Rainbow’ I’ll start with that one:

Out of Neenah Solar White #110 card stock, I cut out two rainbows using the Color Block Rainbow die from Pinkfresh Studio. I did two because I wanted to layer up the pieces for some dimension on the card.

Each ‘ray’ of the rainbow got colour added in a slight ombré effect, with Life Changing Blender Brushes from Picket Fence Studios (my go-to blending tools!) and ink colours from Concord & 9th, and also a dab of Ballet Slipper from Pinkfresh. I don’t know why I didn’t use the pink from Concord & 9th. Who knows what goes on in this head of mine at times??

Once they were all colourful and pretty, I glued them down with the Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive onto the second, intact, rainbow, and this in turn was adhered to another piece of card stock for sturdiness. The excess was trimmed off with scissors. I needed it very sturdy as I wanted to heat emboss Halo Glitter Powder from WOW! Embossing on top for shimmer.

This process is very simple: dab your embossing ink pad all over the rainbow, make sure it’s nice and juicy first though. Then sprinkle the Halo Glitter on top and set that with your heat tool. The simmer is insane and I love it!

Sentiment wise I used ‘Believe in yourself, like I believe in you’ from the Hero Arts and Honey Bee Stamps collaboration set Stronger Together. This is stamped directly onto the card base, with Hybrid Black Ink, with the help of the MISTI and the rainbow as a guide where to place the sentiment. I also added lots of hearts from the set, these are also stamped up with black ink.

Unfortunately I made a boo-boo with the hearts, so I HAD TO bring out the sequins to cover that up. Had to. There was simply no other option. I added a few… -ish… to the card, these are Sparkling Clear from Pretty Pink Posh, and they are adhered with Nuvo Deluxe adhesive. It’s become my new staple in liquid adhesives arsenal.

So that’s the rainbow card. The next card is done with one of the new sets from Ellen Hutson, it’s release day today! It’s called Pressing Thoughts and it’s illustrated by Brandi Kincaid. It has a coordinating diecut too! YAY!

It’s coloured very simply with some copics in yellows and greens, and a tiny bit of purple on the stamens. The coordinating diecut was used to cut it out, as well as another two layers. These three pieces were adhered together with more of that Nuvo Deluxe adhesive. This is such a clever way to add some interest to clean and simple cards!

It was trimmed down to a mini-slimline size, this one is just a tad bigger than 3”x6” and the scalloped black card base was cut out using the Scallop Frame Slimline Diecutting System from Picket Fence Studios. I customised the size by running the diecut and the card stock through my diecutting machine twice to get the scalloped frame and the correct size.

The sentiment is from the Pressing Thoughts stamp set, and the ‘thanks’ was stamped directly onto the background and the ‘for everything’ was done on a slim strip of card stock. This was adhered with a little bit of foam tape to make sure it didn’t sag on the sides. And that was it!

Well, that’s it from me for today but I really hope you enjoyed this post and will get a chance to hop along with us over on YouTube! That’s where you need to leave your comments to be in with a chance to win one of the fab prizes. We can not thank the sponsors of this hop enough!

I have also used some compensated affiliate links in this blog post, for your convenience and at no extra cost to you, in case you want to shop! If you shop using my links I get commission directly from the company, and as I mentioned, it doesn’t cost you anything at all. This is a great way to show support for your favorite content creators.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and if you want to get hopping, the full hop list is down below. I’m 100% sure it will blow your mind so don’t miss it!!

Another Rabbit Hole Design card and giveaway winner!

Hi and welcome back to another post!

This one is going to be short and sweet, with just a quick card and the giveaway winner announcement from the recent blog hop!

The card is featuring the Clover Bunny stamp set, from the new release.

I started out by stamping the image with Copic friendly ink on Neenah #110 card stock, and coloured it in with Copics. Cool Greys for the bunny and a mix of greens for the clover.

When I had finished the colouring, I used the coordinating diecut to cut him out, as well as another two pieces. These I layered up to give him a little bit of dimension.

The sentiment is from the same Clover Bunny stamp set and I used Mushroom ink from Concord & 9th. Black ink seemed to harsh for such a sweet sentiment.

The background is ink blended over a heart stencil from MFT Stamps, and I actually didn’t need to add any more ink than what was left on my Life Changing Blender Brushes. It probably means I need to give my brushes a good ole spa day soon!

With all the card making malarkey out of the way, let’s get to the exciting stuff! The winner of the savings voucher is Lotte! Please email me at erica1cacacraft@gmail.com to claim your savings voucher code!

Thanks for stopping by today, lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

The entire line-up can be found at the bottom of this post, and you next stop is my talented friend Janette Kausen!

So, full disclosure, my goodies only arrived 24hrs ago, so it has been a bit of a scramble. I only finished one full card but if I manage to make more, I will share them over on my Instagram.

I started by stamping the big flower image with Black Hybrid ink on Neenah paper with my MISTI, as I wanted to do some Copic colouring. I started out with reds, greens and cool greys, but decided to skip out on the greens in favour of colouring the leaves grey for a dramatic look.

A bit of masking here and there protected my flowers, and I heat embossed the two leaves from the stamp set in Platinum from WOW! Embossing powder. It goes so well with the grey on the leaves, and adds that gorgeous shine to the card. I made sure to use my anti-static tool generously before, as the paper was still a bit wet from the colouring.

I used my WOW! heat tool to set the powder. I love this tool, thanks to the dual settings you have so much more control over the heat and that’s always a good thing.

To add some drama to the card, I ink blended some Hickory Smoke and Black Soot around the edges, using my Blender Brushes. This not only adds drama, but also draws the eye in to the star of the show: the poppies.

The final touch was to heat emboss one of the sentiments onto black card stock. I used Platinum again, for a cohesive look, and trimmed it down to a slim banner before adhering it with liquid glue.

Well, that’s it from me for now, and it’s time to hop on. Or get your shop on! I have used some compensated affiliate links in this post, for your convenience. These links do not cost you anything extra at all, however if you use them I get a small commission from the company directly. Any earnings I get from these links go directly back into the running of my blog, YouTube channel and Instagram. I am so grateful for the support, and can’t do it without you so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Happy Valentine’s Day to us crafters! It’s Picket Fence Studios release day!

Hi everyone!

Happy Valentine’s/Galentine’s/Sun-Day to you all! The Man and I don’t really do VD anymore. After working as a florist many years ago, the stress and working hours killed any excitement I might have had for it.

Crafting and cardmaking has brought some of that excitement back, but only because I love making cards. Getting new stuff to play with is also fun, and today is release day over at Picket Fence Studios! It’s a super sassy and punny one, which I love!

I have made QUITE a few cards, as usual, because I could not stop the creativity train once it left the station. Idea after idea after idea came to me, and I was (will)powerless to contain it.

I love stencils and there are some utterly fabulous ones in this release! The Movement stencil, which comes in both a 6×6 and a slim line version, is so fun! It created an optical illusion that made me think I had cut my cards wonky more than once. So fun!

On this one I used Distress Oxide inks for a vivid look. It’s finished off with the You Are The Best word die.

On this one I did the stencil printing technique, where you mist the leftover ink on the stencil and “print” it by pressing watercolour paper on top. It gives a softer look, as well as gives you a two-for-one background looks. This one is finished off with the Hey You word die and a sentiment from the You Are Nothing Short Of Amazing stamp set. And some bling from the Day & Night Gem mix.

There is a flower stencil, called Centre Flower that also comes in 6×6 version and slim line version. I used them both, for different results.

On this card I used the newly release paper glaze called Yellow Primrose for a lovely textured look. I love the Paper Glazes, they are so much fun! This one is finished off very simple by heatembossing Congratulations from the Fancy Congratulations Sentiments set and diecut with the FAB coordinating diecuts!

With the slim line stencil I made a colourful background with Distress Oxide inks, and then finished it off with the Fancy Congratulations Sentiments stamps and coordinating dies.

Another fave from this release is the super fun Sparks Cover Plate! Ooooh, the fun I had with this!

First, I simply used it on white card stock and black card stock, which both look fab just as it is.

I also had the finicky idea of using the cutout bits on a card. Yeah, this turned out to be a slow process, as well as sticky, but it did actually turn out really cool!

Both these are done by glueing down all those little bits on to a card base, and then finished with LOTS of bling from the gem mixes Day & Night as well as Fire.

The two original panels were finished off in different, but colourful, ways. The white one has all the gaps filled in with coloured card stock. For both this one, as well as the black and white one, I’ve used Press’n’seal to pick up all the pieces. It works a treat!

The coloured card stock is a mix of Concord & 9th, The Stamp Market and Lawn Fawn.

The next one was finished super simple, by adding the diecut panel on a background made with strips of Lawn Fawn coloured card stock, and Hey You cut out of black card stock, and then the top layer is gold mirror card stock from Tonic Studios.

Well, as you can see in the first photo, I made quite a few more cards but I didn’t want to do a photo-vomit post, lol! Hopefully you will be inspired by these, and if you decide to treat yourself to a little something-something I have affiliate links to Picket Fence Studios which I’d be so grateful if you’d use when you shop. They don’t cost you anything extra at all, ever, and I get a small commission directly from the company as thank you for directing you their way. I really appreciate the support, and even the smallest purchase make a difference, so thank you so much in advance!

Lots of love and happy crafting from Erica

Picket Fence Studios December Release!

Hello, hello!

Today’s post is all about the last release of the year from Picket Fence Studios! There are some fantastic stencils, as always, and I have done my usual thing of making loads of backgrounds whilst getting to know them.

In this post I’ll show a few of the ones I made with the release, including the Slim Line Waves Stencil, but there is also a Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil! Of course, this stencil will work on pretty much any sized card.

I did make a card with the Cloud Coverage stencil, after ink blending a rainbow cloud background. I paired it with a sweet Copic coloured doggie from Pet All Of The Dogs and a sentiment from Stella Puppy.

To cut the pieces out and to make a card base, I used the Slim Line Diecutting System, as well as the coordinating diecut for the Pet All Of The Dogs set.

Another couple of great additions to the stencil range are the sunburst ones. One has the sun in the middle, Burst Of Sun Stencil, and one is a corner one, Corner Sun Stencil.

As I love the Paper Glazes, I had to make a card with them and this stencil. On black card stock I used Golden Rose and the look is so bold and strong! I love it!

I finished it off by heat embossing the microphone and a sentiment from the Do Good Recklessly set, in Metallic Rich Gold from WOW! That’s all this one needed.

Of course I also had to do some ink blending with the Burst Of Sun Stencil, and lots of us in the design team had similar ideas, lol! I blocked off two rays for each colour and did them in a rainbow fashion, using Distress Oxide inks. From 12 o’clock, clockwise, I have used Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron.

I did leave the middle white, where I stamped up the HB2U from Do Good Recklessly, with Black Hybrid Ink.

I did finish my card off with a few… a generous… fine! It’s a tsunami of sequins from the Gin & Tonic sequin mix.

And now… the star of the show, for me, is the Slim Line Waves Stencil. I absolutely love it!

Oh my goodness, I made so many backgrounds with the Slim Line Waves Stencil! These are just the ones made with ink blending and then that stencil press printing technique I like, where you spritz your stencil with water after ink blending and “print” the pattern on water colour paper by pressing down firmly on it.

I have only finished off a card with one of those panels, because I am that crazy one that can’t bear to cover up fabulous backgrounds too much so I could not figure out what to do with them. But oh well.. what a problem to have, right?

I also L-O-V-E how this Paper Glaze experiment turned out! I started with Black Pansy all over the stencil, then added small blobs of Daffodil Yellow, Cornflower Blue and Agapantha Purple, which I then smeared all over using the flat spatula in the Mixed Media Tool bundle.

It kind of looks like a petrol spill, doesn’t it? Or a galaxy! I just love how this look.

I also used DecoFoil Transfer Gel Duo and rainbow foil from Therm-o-web, for this AAHHHH-mazing panel! Gah, I love it so much! I also used the negative from the foil and adhered that to a card base by covering that in double sided adhesive sheets first. So cool, right??

I only finished off the big panel, by cutting it down using the Slim Line Diecutting System and added a heat embossed sentiment from I Freaking Love You.

So, here we have it! The December release from Picket Fence Studios is now live and I have used compensated affiliate links in this post, for your convenience, at no extra cost to you. What that means is I get a small commission from the company directly, if you shop using these links.

I will have videos coming for a lot of these cards too so make sure you are subscribed to my YouTube channel, and hit that notification bell so you get notified of new videos. There is a video there now, showing off the products in the release as well as some of the cards I made so far.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed this post and found some inspiration here with me.

PinkFresh Studios Inks in The House!

Hello, hello!

The ink-oholic Erica here with a very colourful post! I have had the total delight of being sent the entire range of luscious big ink pads from PinkFresh Studios and I HAD to swatch them before doing anything else! Ok, so in all honesty, the first thing I did was dance around like a dizzy emu, whilst clapping like a demented seal and squealing like a happy pig rolling round in mud! Now, that’s a mental image for you, isn’t it?? LOL! Sufficient to say, I was A TAD excited.

Ok, so the swatches are not perfect but, as mentioned, I was a bit excited. And I was still excited while I was stamping them up. I mean, the idea is to see the colours, these are staying in my craft room so I’m not sending these to anyone.

The clever swatching die and stamps are from Waffle Flower. You can find the Swatch Tag Die, Color For Ink Pads and Combo Swatch stamps separate too. These were just perfect for these inks as they come in families of four shades of each colour. You can get the Big Ink Pad Bundle or if you don’t have a huge amount of space in your craft room, they also come in a handy little Mini Cubes Bundle.

For my swatches, I’ve used I cut out loads of tags out of Neenah Solar White #110 card stock, as I wanted the swatches to be sturdy. Using the Mini MISTI, I then stamped up the swatching bit with Detail Black ink from PinkFresh Studio.

The first colour family I did was the yellows: Lemon Whip, Sunshine, Sweet Mustard and Marigold. These also come in handy Mini Cubes, called Rise And Shine.

Next up we have the peachy family: Peach Fuzz, Apricot, Clementine and Persimmon. These also come in handy Mini Cubes, aptly named Indian Summer.

Oooh, these pinks and reds have me all gooey: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious and Candy Apple. They also come in Mini Cubes, with the perfect name Heartbeat.

Pretty in all the shades of pink: Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum and Raspberry Bliss. These also come in Mini Cubes, with the magic name Fairy Dust!

The purples are stunning: Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Lavender and Royal Kiss. Of course, these also come in Mini Cubes and I want you to read this with your very best French accent: Soul Of Provence.

As a blue kind of gal, I’m loving these: Slumber, Blue Jay, Sapphire and Stargazer. Mini Cubes are available as well, with the dreamy name Starry Nights.

I do love all shades of blue but these have me swooning: Sky Blue, Summer Shower, Seaside and Storm. These I could easily have in both big pads and Mini Cubes, Morning Sky, just because I love them.

These dreamy teals are to die for: Ocean Breeze, Aquamarine, Mermaid Cove and Tidal Pond. Of course these gems, called Island Oasis, come in Mini Cubes as well.

Ga-ga for green? No worries, these beauties have you covered: Mint, Meadow, Emerald City and Evergreen. Mini Cubes, too, of course, called Garden Stroll.

More of a spring green kind of person? Don’t feel left out, as these will surely give you your green fix: Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll, Key Lime and Olive. Do KNOLL worry, these come in Mini Cubes too, Over The Hill.

Looking for natural neutrals? Warm Buff, Doe, Gathered Twigs and Espresso takes card of that. In Mini Cubes too, with the delicious name Wild Truffles.

No collection is complete without some steely greys, right? Misty Coast, Rocky Slope, Metropolis and Licorice cover all your bases. In big pads and Mini Cubes, naturally, with the funky name Urban Raincoat.

With all the swatches done, I added them to a ring binder to keep them all in one place. I have already consulted them to make a card, actually. Thanks to the swatches it was super easy to pick out some bright and happy colours for the Pop-Out Rainbow stamp.

With the help of the Mini MISTI, this card took less than 10 minutes to make. SO easy, and cheerful!

I finished it off with a sentiment from the Floral Notes stamp set, stamped up with Black Detail ink. That sentiment was just perfect for a rainbow card! And perhaps a sequin… or ten. Eh, I might have gone a little bit overboard but hey, it works.

Well, with that, I’m all done for today but I do have an unboxing (I bought a LOT of stuff) and ink swatching video over on my YouTube channel as well, if you want to see the swatching in action.

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, PinkFresh very generously sent me the entire range of inks to play with but I purchased a huge amount of stuff from them as well. Including that adorable Pop-Out Rainbow stamp, which I have had my eye on for so long! I want to reassure you that I will only ever create with stuff I love and that inspires me. I don’t know about you, but I can’t work with stuff that I don’t like, it just dries up my mojo.

I have used some compensated affiliate links to (mostly) PinkFresh Studios in this post, for your convenience, at no extra cost to you whatsoever. Any earnings I get from these affiliate links go straight back into stamps… erm… (if The Man reads this, that was an auto-correct! I swear, baby!!) the running of my blog, YouTube channel and Instagram. Thank you so much if you choose to support me by using these links, I really appreciate the support and encouragement!
